Pregnant after a Loss

BH at 19 weeks

I've been feeling Braxton Hicks for the last 4 days. I've called my doc's office twice because they freak me out and today they were kinda clustering. They're pretty confident I'll be ok since my cervical legnth was 5cm at 17 weeks. I'm going in tomorrow to see if it's from a UTI which would make a lot of sense. They may do a cervical legnth as well.

Anyone else with BH this early on? They freak me out because this LO needs to stay put!!!!

  • Thanks so much Eris-Alexis! I hoping it's from a UTI or something like that we can treat because doing this for the next 4 months is going to really get old.

It sounds weird to hope for a UTI, but I hope that's what it is.

  • I've only had BH once and it was earlier on than you are (13w).  The time that I had it I was dehydrated and that was egging on the BHs.   Chug-a-lug!  It can't hurt!

  • Mine started at 16 weeks with DS, and I went full term. They started around 12-14 weeks with this LO.

  • Yes def. had them since around then if not before. In addition to the UTI, have them check for bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection too. Can't hurt to check to put your mind at ease. GL!
