I think DS and I have thrush right now and I forgot to ask the nurse at the dr's office today if any milk I pump right now has to be thrown away? I'm going to call back and ask tomorrow but I thought I would check here too.
Nope it doesn't have to be thrown away but it shouldn't be frozen and used for a later time. As long as it is used fresh/refrigerated its fine to give baby while you're being treated. My problem is (we have had thrush for 2 1/2wks), I don't know when its ok to start freezing the milk! =/

Both of my girls had thrush, and as you can imagine the three of us passed it back and forth in a horrible cycle. The nurses in the NICU told me what a pp said. You can use your milk now while the two of you are being treated, but you shouldn't freeze it and use it later because it could pop up again.
Re: Anyone else had thrush?
Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)

Good luck.
