Towards the end, I would pump a little to remove the engorgement if you have any, but not a full pump session. If that makes sense. Then if you don't feel engorgement, go longer and longer.

If you cut out the morning session, you might find that your night session will need to happen a little earlier in the day than usual - at least for a few days. I always had more milk in the mornings, so I let go of my nighttime nursing/pumping first.
I agree with letting the night session go first, and also with doing a little mini pumping session for relief if you need to. It was really only uncomfortable for me for a few days. GL!
So if I'm reading this correctly, I should cut out my night session and after a while only pump when I feel engorged. Riiight?
I'm sorry I'm having a Selfie moment.
I have only dropped one mid-day session so far, but it sounded to me from the other readers, if your supply is less in the morning, drop that one first.
