Since my son had his circ when he was born everyone told me they didn't take enough off. They have already pulled it back once and the Dr. now says not to pull it back because it will re-adhere and hurt. His penis hides and I have to pull it back to clean it. The Dr. claims it will fix itself when he is a teenager. My husband thinks we should ask for a referral to see a pediatric surgeon but when I asked the Dr. she said she didn't think we needed to see one. Would you see one for piece of mind or am I thinking into this too much?
I agree with your husband. If you feel like you should seek another opinion and are concerned about it, I would without a doubt go see someone. If I was in your situation, I would definitely seek another opinion. Good luck!

We have the same issue with Jake. He's had his pulled back about 4 times before the age of 1. We have an amazing urologist who we fully trust (for some kidney issues he had when he was little) and he talked to us at great lengths about it. We ultimately decided to do the "wait and see" approach, fully thinking it will end up being fine, and honestly, it's already getting better. He said if Jake were his son, he wouldn't have him put under for something that's just aesthetic.
Obviously, I don't know how bad your sons is, but if you're concerned, I'd go see a urologist- they see penis' all the time

I agree! I think DS has a small adhesion, his pedi said it was fine to wait until his check up to have it looked at (I called after his 18 mo). I will see what his opinion is and will take him to a urologist if I don't like the answer.
Preston had adhesions and we took him to ped urologist! I am so glad we did because he did a need to be recircumcised. I would take him to see a specialist because the recovery will easier the younger he is!
