To whoever suggested we get a woombie!! It is amazing and such a good transition from the swaddle (we were using the miracle blanket). He can still stretch and move around (which sometimes he wants) but still feels secure. So far we are both LOVING it! A big thank you, I am hoping we get some sleep tonight.

Well at his 4 mo checkup he was 14.3 lbs and 26 inches. He has since grown. I got the lil' Houdini woombie because he is notorious for getting out of swaddles and I got the big baby size. There is definitely room for him to grow into it. He still woke up to eat but only 3 times last night (comapred to the 6-11 times before). I love it, I think it is a great transition and he can stretch and move but still feel secure. Apparently I have a mover because in the morning he had turned the woombie backwards (as in the zipper was no longer in front, but it was behind him lol) but he was still cozy and comfy with it on backwards. He probably could use the size below but they grow so fast I think the big baby one is perfect.
