She screamed like a banshee taking her shots today, poor thing. 4 shots and an oral vaccine. But she was back in good spirits quickly!
Head: 17.1 inches: 82%
Weight: 16 lbs 12 oz: 63%
Height: 26.75 in: 83%
So, she's tall and skinny with a big head, lol. Not surprising given H is tall and skinny with a big head.
Doc was pleased overall but seemed a little concerned that she wasn't sitting up unassisted yet??? I always thought that was a later milestone, but whatever. She gave us some activities to do with her to try to help her learn to sit up.

My LO can sit up for 2 seconds before toppling over, lol. I agree--I've always heard that was a later milestone.

BTW, Cole is not sitting up unassisted yet. My pedi said anywhere between 6 and 8 months is normal for unassisted sitters.
I wouldn't worry about the sitting up thing - all those milestones are general anyway. FWIW DD can't do it either.

My DD could sit up at six months but was very wobbly. We always needed to keep a Boppy behind her. She'll get there. Our pedi was concerned because she wasn't doing a lot of rolling onto her stomach at her six month appointment. A few weeks later, we couldn't even keep her on her back for diaper changes, and she became a stomach sleeper!
