NCDR: Baby shower gift?

I'm going to a baby shower for a baby boy.  This is her 2nd baby but her 1st boy and she isn't registered anywhere since they don't need the big items.  I was thinking about doing purchasing a hooded bath towel that is white with large orange circles on it and appliquing his initial "C" on the hood and then monogramming his name across the "C".  I was also thinking I would include some baby soap and lotion (probably burt's bees).  Is that a good gift?  Would you like it?
