Here is a video of ours! I recorded the whole thing from start to finish so if you are interested as to what to expect you can see it there. A lot of doctors are different but the general stuff is the same. 

At 4 minutes you can hear my shock when I find out its a girl because the whole time we thought it was a boy. At our 15 week appt doctor told us boy, DH is 1 of 4 boys and only has nephews. First girl in the family ever!

    Ladies, watch this video!  It's awesome...

    I wish they had recorded the whole thing for me.  We could take a recordable DVD in there, but they only recorded about the last 5 minutes of the scan once all of the measurements were complete.

    It is so exciting and I would strongly recommend recording it. I brought my camera and my phone just in case the camera crapped out but it never hurts to ask if you can record it. The worse thing they can do is say no.

    Yay! Now I'm extra excited for ours tomorrow! We're lucky enough that our doctors office will record the whole thing to dvd if you want them to.

    Such a cute video! Our A/S is next Tuesday and I am so excited! I wish our office would let us record a video, but they have signs EVERYWHERE that say no pictures or video! :(

    What an awesome video.. Thanks for posting this. Funny, I nvr thought about recording it before. My appt is still two weeks away but the conventional wisdom (FWIW) seems to think I am having a boy. Like the OP, there are NO boys on DH's side of the family. If I actually have a girl, I have no doubt that it will be like the second coming. Hearing a story like yours kinda gives me a little hope for a baby girl. I was strolling through Target today looking at all the cute little onesies and I just can't wait to find out.. Congrats!
