switching from breastmilk to formula

if you've done this how well did your baby tolerate it? did you talk to the ped before doing so?

    I haven't done this, but I think if we were going to I would call my pedi's office and ask to speak to a nurse and ask her what they recommended.

    I pumped as much as I could until I realized I wasn't producing enough for it be worth it.  He got BM and formula together right from the start because he wasn't latching and then around 4 weeks I went to formula only.  He tolerated it pretty well, but I sometimes wonder if he is a little constipated although it's probably just me being paranoid.  I don't think it's necessary to call your pedi but go ahead and call if it will ease your mind.
