Getting Mirena removed tmrw, questions to ask?

I already have a few written down but not sure if Im not thinking of things. What questions did you ask?

Kyle is 1 year, 3 months and so many days. (My freaking tickers won't upload)

Baby #4 is Due August 9, 2015.

    honestly i didn't ask anything, but when is it safe to have sex. Everything else I learned from here.

    I just had mine removed three weeks ago. The only thing I asked about was how long we should wait before it was safe to TTC. She said I could try right away because many of her patients are able to get pregnant within the first cycle. However, we are planning to wait until August so I can try to figure out my cycles through temping and charting.

    It only took a few seconds to remove it. She told me to start taking a PNV right away and that she hoped to see me back in there soon with a BFP. That was about it. I had already learned quite a bit through this board and reading TCOYF so there really wasn't anything else I wanted to ask. Best of luck to you!

    Thanks Teacher! I hope you get your BFP when you are ready! I think we are going to wait to start in the winter, just to get regular again. Im kind of nervous though because Ive heard that you should have sex 7 days prior to your appt.as it can lead to pregnancy right away. My doc didnt tell me this, I mean if that does happen we will be thrilled but I would like my body to get back to normal first like you said. But we have had sex like 4 times the past week! Eek! haha We will see...it tooks us a little over a year the first time so that would be a miracle if that happened!

    I just got mine out about a week ago. I did ask about when it would be ok to TTC, he said anytime.

     

    I did hold off on any sex the week beforehand just in case

    That still doesn't make sense.  Sperm live at best 5 days (in a perfect world) an egg maybe 24 hours and that is assuming you are at the point where you'd maybe O.

    That is, IMHO, horrible advice to give out...
