Apparently I don't, but not for a good reason.
Around 16-17weeks I had my blood drawn for Part 2 of the trimester screening test. They very recently (new test they started doing early this year) also started checking glucose level at this test and I came back borderline Pre-GDD. Since then they have me going to a special program where my glucose is being monitored. I went in for my check up this week and my OB took out the form that I need to take the 1hr GTT and then she stopped and said "oh that's right, you don't have to take this because we are already monitoring your glucose levels".
uh, awesome! (not that I'm pre-GDD but that I don't have to take it!)
Re: Anyone NOT have to take the 1hr/3hr GTT?
Well I guess that's good that they are monitoring you since you were borderline pre-GD.
I didn't have to take the 3hr because my fasting was high enough that it landed me in the hospital for 24hrs. Does that count!?
