PSA: Wool Dryer Balls

I ordered my large (nearly softball size) dryer balls from Lucky Hanks on Etsy - she's offering 25% off everything on the 4th and free shipping on the 22nd (her shipping isn't awful, though).  I've gotten wool dryer balls and kitchen spongelike scrubbers from her and love them all!.  "Like" her FB page for more details.

what is a dryer ball for?

  • Since you can't use fabric softener sheets with your CDs, many mommas use wool dryer balls in the dryer.  They help to separate the laundry and "fluff" it a bit so it reduces drying time.  Wool is good because it's antibacterial and all that jazz, and they last a long time.  Plastic ones are okay, but they often leech chemicals and fall apart quicker.  They can also be scented with a few drops of EO to make your laundry smell better without dryer sheets.
