I was at a hospital cafe after visiting a family member and there was a younger lady there I would say early twenties or something.  She had the most adorable twin girls about ten months old.  I had commented about how cute they were and she said " Yeah we are on our way home, I was just discharged from having my second set of twins, a boy and a girl" .  I wonder if she noticed my jaw on the floor.  She seemed very chatty and said neither were a result of treatments and not planned. 

I thought about how hard this will be for her but the selfishness set in and I thought how lucky she was to be soooo FERTILE!!!!!!  Oh well.

    Is it bad that I'm insanely jealous that she has 2 sets of twins?!   I soooo want twins. 

    On the other hand, damn that's a lot of diapers!!!

    AGREED. One set of twins would be enough for me. But then again, having 2 extra sets of older hands might help a little!

    I found out yesterday that a friend of mine from HS, who delivered her first 'oops' last November, is due with her second 'oops' in September. 

    Imagine that many LO under the age of 1. It make me feel a lot better :)

    Yeah, it will definitly be a full time job for her! I dont think I could handle that many so young!! She is a BRAVE woman!!

    I heard of one instance where a woman ovulated from both ovaries every month.  Hmm... I wonder if your double twins mom has the same thing going on...?
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    Holy crap. That would be overwhelming. I would have to have my mom move in or something to help me with that many kids, that close in age. I secretly really think twins would be so cool, but I'm afraid it'd just be incredibly overwhelming. (I have 8 sets of twins in the last 7 generations of my family, so the odds of twins are pretty decent.) As long as my kiddos are healthy, though, I'll be happy.

    Four kids under 10 mos.  My GOODNESS that woman will have her hands full... 

    I had a friend growing up who was one in a set of triplets.  Who came after a set of older twin brothers.  After the triplets, her dad promptly got a vasectomy...  Stick out tongue

    FOUR kids under a year old?? I don't envy that. I am a twin and really want twins, but not two sets in one year! That's crazy talk!

    A girl I know from high school has 5 under the age of 6... I cannot imagine having that many children much less under the age of 6.

    She said she had a lot of complications and they took the babies early.  I would love twins but 2 sets that close would scare me!

    The idea of twins scares me, this scares me even more!

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015
