Shedding

It seems like ever since i had DS my hair sheds like crazy! No matter how tight i put it back it seems like he always has a ton of hair all over him and in his hands. Does anyone else have this problem and if so any suggestions on what i can do?

    yes I am totally going through this right now!  It's absolutely normal for this to happen after pregnancy.  Basically, during your whole pregnancy, your body doesn't shed (it's like we're keeping all of our hair like bears or something!) and after the baby is born you slowly lose all of the hair that you should have lost over those 9 months so that you get back to where you would have been if you would have never been pregnant.  It's so nuts - hair is always covering my LO's clothes!  There's not much you can do but wait it out - I heard if you EBF, it takes a little longer.

    Thanks, i feel like a cat shedding and it gets so annoying lol. I think it drives my DH crazy too.. ill have to share that with him

    Oh wow.  I didn't know the breastfeeding part.  Interesting.  I am actually visibly going bald in the front.  I have a receding hair line.  :(

    I posted about this earlier this morning...I am going thru this baaad!!! My hair is all over the place!! I hate it. The worst is when I go to change T, I will find a piece or 3 in her butt crack. DISCUSTING!!!

    Good to know!  I only recently, over the last few weeks started loosing a lot of hair.  Every time I brush, I get like a weeks worth of hair in the pic or brush!  I was starting to wonder!  Good to know it sounds like it's normal.  I do not remember this happening with my first :)
