I'm going to purchase another convertible car seat today because we need one for DH's car (tired of transferring our Britax back and forth constantly), and it'll come in very handy when DH's bro + family come visit this weekend. They didn't want to haul their carseat across the country so I'm using this as a good excuse to purchase our second.
I'm tempted to go to resale and pick one up there - has anyone done that? Or is that a big no-no?
Anyone gotten a super inexpensive one that they like, and where? TIA!

We have the Graco MyRide65. I like it. For me, it's relatively easy to put in the car. It will hold L rear facing until 40lbs. My only con is the straps get annoying when I put him in and have to fish them out from under him.
I bought a brown one on-line for under $100. It was cheaper than normal because it was a color they were either discontinuing or an unpopular color. I didn't care about the color.
