Gifts for Godparents......

While I'm pretty sure I know what I want to get my BIL (if it can arrive in time I'm getting him a Yankees camera strap for his DSLR) I have no idea what to get my SIL. I thought about getting her a handstamped necklance with all 4 of her kids names on it, but it won't get here in time since they still don't have a name for the new baby who was born yesterday. 

Can you all tell me what you gave your LO's godparents?

    I did not get them anything. I do not understand this practice much. Its an honor for them to be the Godparent and in my family the Godparent gets the child a special gift. We do honor the Godparents on Mothers Day and Father's Day, tho.

    yeah, i never got the godparents anything- they actually got stuff for the girls for their baptism!  we dont' really celebrate mother's/father's day for godparents, though, we do stuff for godparents day!
