I want to get a sound machine for my older son who is almost 20 months b/c the baby's room is right next to his and I can't change his diaper or anything in there during the night w/o fear he'll wake the older one. Anybody have one that's great for a toddler/drowning out sound vs. designed for an infant to help them sleep longer?
We have the one I linked below for both boys. We put it on the rain sound, as loud as it will go, all night. It drowns out the noise of the street and any crying one might do. The projector on both broke shortly after we purchased them, but we just turn them on and use it as a night light.
I have one for both my kids and will be getting another one for this baby. They are life savers. I get mine from www.sleepwellbaby.com and it's the Sleep Mate 980. Sounds like a fan and runs all night long . LOVE IT.
We have the homedics sleep spa one in my 20 month old DD's room. We love it, has a variety of sounds, volume levels and play time. We previously used the Sleep Sheep, but it shuts off after 40 minutes.
