Reading some of the temping questions posted recently made me want to see what my temp would be if I took it at a different time of day (I normally temp at 7am). So I took my temp at 10:00, and it was 96.5 (LOWER than my temp this AM). I thought that was strange. Then I worked out for 45 minutes and took my temp again. It was 94.3! That would meet the definition for hypothermia! And I was definitely not cold, I was sweating. Then I took a shower and took my temp again and it seemed more normal - 97.7.
Should I be worried that my thermometer has gone bad? I did travel with it last week but I don't think it suffered any serious damage. I thought your temps were supposed to go up the later you take them during the day, not down. If I start with a new thermometer, will that change my pattern for the month? If you look at my chart it seems that my AM temps at normal time appear to be in an acceptable range/pattern, though I've been expecting them to go up any day based on CM and CP. Very confused about what to do, or if this is anything to be concerned about at all.
TIA!
