BF - what the heck?!

Just a vent...

I normally have a 10 day LP - so on 10 DPO I took an hpt and there was a very faint line. I know a line is a line - but it was oh so faint. (It was a pink dye test, not blue). I should have gotten my period yesterday - but it didn't come. Since everything was pointing in the right direction I took another hpt this morning and if I squint at it super hard in the light, then yes I do see a shadow of a line, but it is significantly lighter than the one 2 days ago. I didn't even think a line could get lighter than the extremely light one I saw 2 days ago until I saw the test today. I would think that after 2 days the line would get darker, not lighter. 

 Now I'm just wondering what this all means. I'm hoping this is not a cp and hoping my period doesn't show up today. I know I just need to wait an see what happens - but waiting is so hard.

    How light or dark a line means nothing as far as a CP.  It could just be that 10 days is too early to have enough HCG to make an easy to read line.

    I would wait a few days then retest with FMU, good luck!

    This.  I wouldn't read too much into the lightness/darkness of the line. All you need is a line. :)

    FWIW, when I found out I was PG with my DD, the line was extremely light as well. I had a problem-free pregnancy and now have a happy, healthy kid.
