mucous plug....????

in 3rd Trimester

I just had a large, boogery like ball of goo (mostly clear to white tinged) sitting in my jammies when I went to change out of them... ummmm???? Isn't it a little early for a mucous plug to be coming out? Any other ideas? It almost looked like cervical goo, but drier and sticker, that I would get pre-ovulation. WTH was that...and should I call the doctor???

    I think I lost my mucus plug yesterday and it was a HUGE amount of mucus... like the size of a silver dollar with a big spot of blood.It took a few wipes to get it all out and the tp was full of it.

     

    Did you have that much??

    It was probably a little more than the size of a quater- no blood, no brown- just clear and white tinged.

    It was probably just a piece of your mucous plug and like PP said it regenerates.  I lost pieces of mine like 3 different times while pregnant with DS1 and then a huge amount with my bloody show about 36 hours before my water broke.
