Olympia Hands On Children's Museum! Nisqually Animal Refuge (great birding!) Boston Harbor Marina Great Wolf Lodge Olympic Flight Museum Local hikes Local Farms Local Pettings Zoos Local Spray Parks
If you're not too far from Lynnwood, they do "Wonderstage" on Wednesday's at noon and it's free. They are usually pretty busy and well-attended to get there early.
Here's the list of performers:
July 6 - School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts July 13 - Reptile Man July 20 - Kontagious Performing Company - Break Dance July 27 - Thistle Theater: Brother Coyote and Sister Fox August 3 - Alex Zerbe - Juggler August 10 - Casper Babypants, Music
The Reptile Man is always a crazy event because everyone wants to come and see him. Parking can be crappy if you're not there early. My recommendation would be to arrive around 10:30 and let the kids play and bring lunch with you. Bring something to sit on and plan to sit behind the amphitheater seats because there are always other camps that come, other than the one that meets at that park.
If I'm around this summer, I'm definitely bringing Emma to a performance. The kids always have a blast and they used to have Trader Joes there with popsicles for free after the show :-)
