how long it would take for my body to right itself from BCP! i stayed on for so long because we were always traveling and i didn't want the hassle of AF. now that we're TTC my cycle is still kind of thrown. only halfway through and i've had cramps the past two days ....grrrrr...

    how long have you been off bcp?  I went off in august and my cycles are still kind of wonky, I kind of always thought my body would go back to normal/regular really quickly, but I guess not. lol

    my doctor told me to be prepared to be pregnant if we are not using alternative protection the first month after getting off BCP (yeah right).  but she said that it usually takes most women 3-6 months to regulate.

    i got off in march, and my last cycle was the first one i felt was close to the way it used to be "before" i was on bcp. so don't worry, what you're experiencing is pretty normal.

    BFP#1 1/24/12 ~ EDD 10/3/12 ~ Natural m/c 2/23/12 8w/3d. Hysteroscopy 4/20/12 - 2 fibroids removed

    Not that this helps, but I came off birth control in May, and got pregnant in June the first time.  I had an extra long cycle that go round, but still it happened fast. So, keep in mind if you had ended it early you miht have ended up conceiving before you were ready! GL

    How sad is that I don't really remember how things were "before" except the crazy cramps.
