I hear you! It was amazing how easily the weight came off...at first. I am back to my Weight Watchers, plus exercise. They have a plan even if you're fully or partially breastfeeding. For me I know I just really need to write down what I eat and stop fibbing to myself that that extra bite of such and such is okay. Good luck! 42 pounds down, 18 to go...
This was me after having Tyler only I gained 70 pounds and after losing 30 was stuck. The scale would not budge, so I cut out all sugar, soda, and dairy from my diet and started exercising regularly. So far I have lost 11 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I also restricted my diet to 1200-1400 calories and drink a lot of water!
I was having the same problem. Then last week I decided to really watch the calories. I am normally a low-carb eater so I do watch the carbs, but the weight loss has been slow. Since I cut out some of the fattier foods I have lost another 5 pounds. It's still much slower than pre-baby.
I hear you. I lost 33 lbs easily, and the last 10 are just stuck on my thighs, hips, and belly. I've tried working out regularly and eating healthier, but I'm still BFing and I've found that cutting calories and working out kills my milk production. So <sigh> I've resigned myself to be 10 lbs heavier until Audrey weans.
I can tell you what I do - I gained 47 pounds and lost 20 immediately, then completely STALLED. Now, I have lost 20 more on my own (it's taken 3 months so you have to be patient).
I don't exercise, I don't have time. But I do make all efforts to park far away from wherever I'm going, take the stairs, stuff like that. Not sure if it helps.
I focus mostly on my diet. For breakfast, I have a Slim Fast and either a banana or a granola bar. For lunch, I have a Smart Ones/Lean Cuisine and then a sugar-free pudding or something like that. For dinner, I have a lean meat and usually 2 veggies. If I have to have dessert, I get frozen yogurt (no fat!) or weight watchers ice cream bars. Like I said, I've been following this for 3 months and have lost 20 pounds so it DOES work...
