When do baby's eyelids un-fuse? (PIP)

So one of our u/s pics is a little creepy looking, it looks like his eye is open.  The tech said, look, there is the lens of the eye!  So are they open or did the u/s go through the thin skin of the eyelid?  Does that even make sense?  Thanks for the help!

    Ahh, the alien shot.  They're probably closed, if you think about it, its shooting waves through your skin, so it would go through baby's skin too.

    I don't think their eyes start to open until somewhere in the mid-20s week range.

    It goes through their skin too, that's why they can measure all of the parts they need to measure. I don't think the eyes become unfused until around 24 weeks.
