survive swim class, roast marshmallows, finger paint outside, organize block party, visit the water front, go to the zoo in the evening, build a tent, walk to get the Bee every week, play at a sandy beach, play hookie from work, entertain outside more, bake on Sunday mornings
chores:
paint and organize inside garage, paint closet doors in bedroom, refinish twin bed and bookshelf, power wash deck
Paint stair railings, finish sprinkler system, rip out bushes along front of house, replace with new landscaping, fix swingset (playhouse up high needs new railings), also finish some projects (like dig out root balls for a couple bushes).
With the kids:
Berry picking (all kinds), apple/pumpkin picking towards fall, fireworks, swimming, visit some old friends that have kids too (that live a couple hours away), visit LI, go to the Cape, boating, probably some kind of summer camp program (again!).. there's more but I can't think of it off the top of my head
