TTC and annoyed

My husband and I have been trying for 2 months now and as of today, I am a week late.  I went to take a test this morning using a digital test, and it brought up a book like figure, telling me to read the instructions.  I have peed on a stick before and know how to do it so I called my sister who is also ttc, she stopped using the brand (Clear Blue) of test I was using because at least 1 of every test in the box she bought said the same thing, read the instructions.  Have any of you ladies had this problem with store bought pregnancy tests?

    Nope...never had an issue.  Although, I hardly ever test.

    1-How do you know you are a week late, do you chart?

    2- If you actually read the instructions it would tell you that you peed on the stick for too long and it ruined the test.

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015

    OP - it is an error message.  Did you read the instructions to see what it means?  What did the instructions say?

    Try a FR... they are pink dye and more sensitive than a digi.  

    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    I am aware:  (1) of how to use the quote button (didn't think this needed to be a mile long for a somewhat weak quip, but since you insist) (2) that ICs are available (3) what the OP actually meant and (4) what that phrase actually means (possibly due to too much Little House as a child):

    Just had the SAME issue with a CBE ovulation test. Today. I called and they're replacing it. But i just went out and got cheaper ones to replace anyway. Prob won't buy CBE again.
