Costco produce?

I went and walked through the north location today to decide if I want to get a membership.  I was very surprised by the amount of organic frozen veggies, meat and prepared meals they had but I forgot to see if they had any organic fresh produce.  I didn't even go into the walk in the fridge.  So do they have any organic produce?

    yes.  not all of it is organic but they do sell some organic stuff. ;)

    Ditto, and it's good, too. I'd buy all my produce at Costco if I could. I'm too lazy to make a special trip to Whole Foods or Central Market, but HEB's produce is such a dissapointment. The only reason I don't do all my produce at Costco is because you have to buy so much. Between the three of us, I'm having a hrd time eating 20 apples before they go bad Surprise But they are delicious apples!

    i pretty much use costco as a grocery store since i live so close to the south location. they carry quite a bit of organic produce, but like saralouise said, you can't always consume the quantity that they sell before they go bad. :)

    They do have organic lettuce and apples but they usually don't have organic berries or much else that I buy. We have no problem eating the apples before they go bad but the lettuce is big for us so we get ours at HEB. We use their Amex card so our membership is paid back in rewards from that card. My DH travels a lot for work so everything travel related goes on that card and gets us like 2 or 3% I think??

    Good to know! If anything I bet I could split the produce w/the in-laws. I have noticed that heb's organic produce but I hate going to the store so often. Thanks for the input. And good word I was joking when I made the comment that Costco was the hoppin place but it really is. I had to park behind the bldg. Ughhhh

    Ditto what everyone else says about carrying some organic produce. I shop at the north location and what is organic tends to vary. I usually always buy strawberries when I'm there, but sometimes they're organic, sometimes they aren't. Maybe I'm just picking them up from a different side, though?

    Really? Maybe I've just stopped looking for them because they have not had them so many times when I've been. Last year I bought organic raspberries there but I haven't seen any this year. Maybe once I saw strawberries this year.

    I shop at the south location. I'm south, plus sooooo much less crowded is a bonus!

    It's hit or miss. This week I got tons of organic stuff though- blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, carrots, spinach, and chicken.

    I bet it's the different locations. I go to the N. location and get organic blueberries, apples (pre cut/washed), strawberries and sometimes raspberries. We also buy our organic chicken and steaks there. Yummy.
