OMG I'm an idiot but customer service stinks

I have a rental car while mine is being repaired.  I called two days ago to tell them that the rental needs an inspection sticker this month.  They took my name and number and told me they'd call me in the next day or two about switching the car out.  I haven't heard from them so I called today and come to find out, I called Hertz and my car is through Enterprise.  I'm a dumbass haha  My idiocy aside, do you think the Hertz guy could have been a decent guy and called me back when he couldn't find me in their system?  No.  Apparently he figured he'd just leave me hanging, not even knowing I had called the wrong place. Thanks dude.

    lol, you just reminded me of a friend that booked a massage and when she showed up they didn't have her appointment. She was mad because she had just called so the massage place called the therapist on call so they were able to squeeze her in. When she got back to her car she had a voice mail from the place she had actually made the appointment telling her that she had missed her appointment time. At least she called both places to explain :)
