Trying to Get Pregnant

recommend your OPK?

Hey ladies,

My CBE smiley face OPK got an error message today. Called CBE. They're sending me a new one, but not any time soon it seems. I plan on going to get more today. Can you recommend the OPK you use?

Thanks so much!

Re: recommend your OPK?

  • My first cycle using them I used FR and cheapies from Walgreens.  I got two days of positives, but then I ran out.

Last cycle I used FR and got five days of positives.

I am using digis this cycle... we will see how it goes.

Most ladies will tell you to start with ICs and confirm with a digi!

I just use the cheapest ones I can find on amazon.com- usually 40 opks and 10 hpts. IC's are great once you get used to them.

This exactly. I paid about $9 for my first round, then the second time they were on sale for $4 I think. Then you can use a digital test to confirm a positive since the ICs can be a bit confusing if you're not used to them.

The ones I get on Amazon are Wondfos :)

  • I use the clear blue digitals as well. I started ordering them from amazon, much cheaper that way. About half the price of what I was paying for them at CVS.
  • Thanks everyone!

I'm probably just going to go by CVS on my way home cause I know (hope?) O's getting close. For next month, I'll order the cheapo's through amazon (GREAT tip. thanks!), but for now it looks like i'll be spending a bit of money. lame.

     Thanks again,

  • I bought the Target brand strips when I first started because I didn't know about the internet cheapies :) Live and learn!

  • I like the CBE because the smiley face makes me happy. Also, its easy to read and I dont have to second guess if there is a second line or not.
