Not asking if I am pregnant....

Just wanting to know if anyone else has been in or heard of this situation

I know girls on the boards hate these kinds of questions but I need to see if anyone else went through this or something similar. I introduced myself but have only posted a handful of times.

DH and I weren't planning on TTC until next cycle. I do not chart as of yet so of course cannot know for sure when I O'd but should have been "traditionally" around the 15th, considering my period started on the 30th. We stopped "pulling out" on the 20th.

1st question-How late can you O?

2nd question-Took a test last night because I am on a medicine that is getting changed in less than 2 weeks that they don't want me on if I get pregnant. So I took the test just to make sure. It was a CBE digi test, after about 2 minutes-Pregnant.

I panicked and drank a ton of water and tested this with a cup, first with a FRER and then with the Walmart brand, FRER was neg and Walmart brand just blurred the control line. So I showed DH and we decided to wait until this morning to test again.

This morning...did the whole dip in a cup thing again, FRER negative and Walmart had a solid control line this time and a faint blue second line.

Thoughts? I know a line is a line but I think I am more worried about a chemical pregnancy. I don't need anyone telling me if I am or not pregnant but wanting to know I am not alone in this weid situation.

Blue dye tests are known for false positives so I wouldn't even count that one....I'm a little curious about the digi test saying pregnant though....weird. I would test once a week until you get a BFP again or AF.

If your Doc is really concerned about chancing meds/ pregnancy, and you're uncertain, ask them to do a blood test.

The tests you took after the digi that said "pregnant" were probably negative because you drank so much water. I would, as pp said, avoid blue dye tests altogether. I would get a FRER and test with that tomorrow with FMU. If it's positive, call your doctor for a blood test and go from there.

If you tested with a digi and it said "Pregnant" ... then I think you are pregnant.
