I would like it if from now on

if anyone is going to post anything that has to do with someone harming their child to put some type of disclaimer on it.  I honest to God just threw up over the morphine one and had I known what it was I would have never opened it.  I just can't handle things like that anymore.  Sorry, I don't mean to be over sensitive or bitchy.  I can't even watch anything that has to do with Casey Anthony anymore

    I'm freaking bawling like a two year old over this one.  How could someone not have noticed that this mother had a problem.  I would think there would have been red flags up somewhere.

    For me it's anything about a tragedy...like tsunami's or tornados or any kind of disaster movie.

    But I think a disclaimer is a good idea.

    I agree, I dont post here that often but I do read most of what is posted and some things can be very upsetting. There needs to be some sort of disclaimer.

    There's a big emotional difference for me between an adult being murdered and a child being murdered. Especially now that I have a child.

    I have to agree with discobelle- I definitley wasn't about to click that link after reading the comments, or just the title in general.  I know stuff like that effects me ten times more now that my horrmones are crazy.

    I just assumed from her title that it would involve that. I think that's all discobelle was trying to say with that comment.  I don't think people should post that stuff to begin with, but people always do.

    This exactly. The title mentioned murder, but not specifically an infant's murder.

    WTF, seriously.  It isn't like I was coming down on the person who posted it at all.  Nor did I say that it was an asshat thing to post.  I just would have never even opened the thread had I known what was in it.  Not a huge deal,  just saying it would be nice if we put up some type of disclaimer.

    This isn't the first time a link has been posted to a story about a horrible child death. And there isn't always a warning.

    Look, nobody's attacking you. Nobody is suggesting that we aren't just as disturbed by those stories, it's just a difference of opinion on posting specific titles .

    I agree with RIM...disclaimer is needed.

     

    On a personal side note, I would like to add that I really don't care for the anti-abuse chain posts on FB that give a short morbid story about an abused child then at the end it says "if you are against child abuse then repost this"  I seriously want to scratch the people who post that kind of crap with dirty nails
