LO has not napped ALL DAY!

Elliot has been awake all day long.  He usually just takes a few power naps, but he hasn't even done that.  I just set him in my lap to bump for a few minutes.  I looked down, and he was all slouched over.  He finally just crashed sitting up, lol.  My MIL says my husband was like this as a child.  She said he would just go, go, go until he just crashed regardless of where he was or what he was doing.  I think I am in for it, lol.

  • And...we're awake.  That seriously did not last 10 minutes.  I am going to blame 6 month shots. Sad  He did sleep really well last night, so I can't complain too much.

  • What would happen if you just put him in his crib?  Would he eventually fall asleep?

  • I did put him in his crib when he fell asleep.  He ended up going back to sleep for about 30 minutes.  I at least got my dishes washed.

  • DS does this a lot. He sleeps quite well at night these days (8pm-5am, eat, then to 7am) but his napping is unpredictable in terms of number (0-3), length (15min to 3 hrs), or timing. I'm trying, with the nanny, to get him on a schedule to no avail.

We've never managed to get on a napping schedule.  We do pretty good getting him to bed on time (8:00), but he still gets up 2-3 times a night to eat.  I can't complain too much though.  He nurses and goes right back to sleep.  I think it has been hard to get a napping schedule because he goes different places through the week, and now I am home for the summer.
