I have the bassinet at an incline. I've tried the swing. He is on Zantac. Despite all of this, the only place my LO sleeps comfortably for more than an hour or so is in my arms. Any place else and he sounds like he is going to choke in his sleep. Any suggestions? I've considered the carseat, but is that safe for sleeping?
Re: Moms with Reflux babies... Help!
You might check out a rock and play sleeper.
On a side note. What bottles are you using? Dr. Brown's are the best for reflux.
Thanks. I'll look into a rock and play.
To answer your question, he's exclusively breast fed right now. The couple of times we've used the bottle, we've used Avent. He seems to do well with them.
The sleeping in your arms is pretty much a normal newborn thing. I'm sure a little bit of it has to do with the reflux, but a lot of babies only sleep long periods of time in someone's arms.
I have a baby carrier that I wrap DD up in so that I can get some stuff done when she doesn't want to be put down.
I also agree with PP, we have a rock and play sleeper and she does wonderfully in this!!!
