Hey ladies, as I have only really kept track once now (finally), how often are you supposed to be doing the ovulation tests? Or do you just test once and go with it? Confused!
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I start around CD 10 and test once a day until the test line starts to get darker, then I test 2x, sometimes 3x a day until I see a positive or the test line starts to fade.
I think I'm becoming a POAS addict though. Thank goodness for ICs!

I have been doing that and got a happy face on Monday, CD 12, but tested again later on that day and got a -, but then followed with another happy face yesterday. I'm thinking that I probably did something wrong with the - and I'm not going to freak out. Going with the positive. Have been off BC for 3 months now and finally got a + OPT! And for the lingo newbie, what does FMU stand for?
Start around CD 10. Do not use FMU. Test 2 times per day (I do 11am and 7pm) and try to hold your urine for at least 3 hrs before you test. You can stop testing once you get a +, but I test until I get a -. FYI getting several +s is not uncommon, but you're looking for a temp leap somewhere in there to confirm O.
When the test line is as darker or darker than the control line, its a +. You can always back up with you think is a + with a digital--for me, this helps a lot.
There are some tests that do say to use FMU.
OP, I usually test twice a day. Once in the morning and then once around 5:00 with the CBE digitals. I always catch my surge. Good luck!
