mattress recs? for a bunk bed

I'm looking for a relatively safe, non-toxic, but inexpensive mattress that will be for a bunk bed.  Nothing fancy, and it doesn't have to necessarily have to be organic.  When searching for a mattress a few years ago for my daughter I remember the search being a bit overwhelming, and once again I don't know where to start!  We ended up with a mattress from Ikea which is great, buy I want to see if anyone knows of some good options.

    I dont have a brand suggestion but I do have a type suggestion.  We have bunks in DS room that we also use for guests.  The mattress that came with a bunkie board (sp?, like a very thin box springs) is the most comfortable.  The mattress that is an all in one (hard wood on the bottom and supposedly mattress on the top, it is the thickness of a regular mattress) is horrible!
