So I have been congested for over 2 weeks now. It started with my overnight shift but thought nothing of it since I always get run down. Then 10 ago I felt the congestion move into my ear and it hasn't left. So this is 10 days that I can't hear and there is a ringing in my ear. I have taken allegra and sudafed to try and break it up and it's not working. The problem is I don't have a PCP and I will be responsible for the entire bill from the urgent care since our insurance sucks and none of the urgent cares are covered. I don't have any pain just a clogged feeling. All I want is someone to look in my ear and see if it is infected or just clogged. Why is healthcare so expensive? I really shouldn't be having to have this debate
Re: would you go to urgent care?
I can't believe you can't find a doctor who can get you in right away. I know my husband just switched doctors, and they got him in that same week... just for a physical/check-up.
He is now going to Dr. Hartman. Not sure of his #, but he's over on N. Bailey... right near the post office, I think.
I agree Jul! Try calling the place DH and I go to. I posted their contact info in your post last week about PCP. We love it there and I know if you told them you were sick they'd get you in right away!
