Trying to Get Pregnant

Chart Stalk would be greatly appreciated :)

My temps post possible O seem pretty low and flat and I question O. I was really thinking FF would have taken even the dashed CH away by now.

As far as all the neg OPKs - there was one last week that DH and I actually debated one being +. (it is noted but not entered obviously, if I do enter it as a positive, the CH are solid - I have a lot of notes since this is my first cycle really charting and assumed I would have some questions on things) I assumed all the - OPK's was the reason FF was giving me dashes, but if I take them away and pretend I did not use them at all, FF takes away the CH's completely.

As you can see I don't trust FF at all and we have continued to BD as if I have not O'd...

Any thoughts on FF interpretation would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

  • I think you def'ly O'd on CD 11, where the dotted CH currently are. You may just have missed your pos OPK... When it's positive, you'll know b/c it is as dark& thick as or darker than your test line.. well at least that is what the directions say on my Wondfo's. In my experience it is always darker & same width as the test line when I get my positive. I'm thinking FF hasn't given you solid CHs b/c of the OPKs. Hope this helps...

  • Between your shift and your CF drying up to creamy, it certainly does appear that you Od.  If you were to erase the outlying temp on day 8 completely and delete the OPKs, does your CH show up?

  • I agree with CD 11 as well, You should go on FF and look up some of the charts that have high or erratic pre O temps just for comparison.

If I force the CD8 temp to be closed and erase all the OPKs all together it gives me no CHs at all.

If I put in the questionable + OPK on CD9 it gives me solid CH's.

I have not tried ignoring that CD8 temp all together...

I am really kind of annoyed with myself - I was being pretty laid back about the OPKs b/c the directions told me not to even start them until CD12. The only reason I did start them early is b/c when no on BCP my cycles were more like 27/28 days vs the 30 day I had first month off. That and learning to read them...

And to think, I assumed temping would make me less insane :)

  • I don't even use OPKs so I'm not sure how my s/w would adjust my chart if I was to record - or +.

This is exactly what I think, good call here!

Also, it shows drinking for 3 days around O...that may affect your temps.  However, I don't think the temps look "too low" or anything like that, as you're worried about.  Theres a temp shift after CD 11 and thats a good thing. Your timing is great (holy cow, you're a BD'ing trooper!) so you can probably relax now ;)

I think I mark "drinking" way more than I should just to be safe. We had friends in town for a week and they LOVE to drink, I'd have 1-2 glasses of wine. If I have more than one I mark it (probably should just make note of it). I was originally afraid that the spike on CD12 was from an actual night of drinking, but since my temps have stayed up, I am starting to trust FF :)

I have a pic of the questionable, maybe positive OPK, but I am having issue posting it.

DH is loving this. He actually told me last night he hopes we get to have a few more months of TTC. I wanted to slap him :)

I don't think I am going to use them anymore. They have only caused me frustration, and after much Googling, it seems they may just not work for some people.

I figure Ill just use them during 2WW to fulfill my urge to POAS.

  • Just remember, above the CL is above the CL. I wouldn't worry too much about temps close to the CL unless that happens repeatedly month to month and even then, only if they really hover right on the line. That could indicate a progesterone level problem.

Certainly can't hurt to skip them and see what your charts look like without that part of the data.  It'll save you some money, too.  ;-)

  • Thank you to everyone who responded :)

As far as my low temps and worrying about them "hovering", Im not going to stress about problems yet. I have had low temps my entire life. Even mid day I rarely hit 98. At the age of about 16 my mother thought there was something terribly wrong with me and had massive amounts of blood tests done and the verdict was that I'm fine, just cold.

As far as OPKs go, I like the idea of backing the IC with a digi. I had read about people doing that on here, but didn't want to spend the cash until I gave it a go with the Wondfo. If I use them next cycle, Ill def have some digis on hand (and start testing 2x a day MUCH sooner!!)
