Temping Tip

Trash or treasure the following info. Big Smile

Just thought I would share a temping tip that has made a huge difference for me in my years of charting.

I have allergies and snore at night so mouth breathing is a problem for me and naturally, so was getting steady temps.  I switched to vaginal temping after about 6 months or so and my temps are much more steady and my charts easier to read.If you're having a really hard time with temps being all over the place, it could be something to consider.

Re: Temping Tip

  • I was having the same problem with nighttime congestion and uneven temps because I end up having my mouth open to breathe half the night. I switched to vaginal temping early in this cycle on someone's advice from TTGP, and it made a world of difference!

It's a little more hassle but it's worth it to have a chart I can make sense of. One more vote for vaginal temping!

  • I temp vaginally as well, due to being a mouth breather. It is working for me!

  • Unfortunatly I have no excuse like you ladies do--I just breathe through my mouth all night every night...or when I'm sleeping in the car, on the couch...it can be embarrassing! Anyways, I was glad to see a thread a month or so ago related to mouth breathing or I probably would never have related my temps to that!

    Yay for the vag temp!
