SO: Million $$ Baby billing ?

I just got my explanation of benefits from my insurance company for the OB's portion. I had a regular vag delivery. The hospital resident actually delivered my baby and my OB stitched me up afterwards (only needed 2 stitches). Anyways the description for the OB's services said surgery. For what I had done that just doesn't sound right to me.

I'm just wondering what other people were billed for or if I need to call and question it.

Wondering the same thing after seeing my EOB. I am calling OB's office Monday to ask...couldn't hurt. I asked my MIL and she said, "Well, it was a baby-ectomy!" HAHA.

I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one and wish I had an answer for you but anytime I think to call the office, it's after hours, hah. If I figure something out I'll let ya know!
