Gah! He's getting his teeth all at once!!

Poor little guy!  We waited forever for his his first two bottom teeth to come in..

and then last month he got one of his top teeth...

last week, the other three of the middle top teeth came in...

and now I think he's getting his canines!  He's miserable today...do the canines hurt worse than the others? (obviously molars must suck the worst....)  I felt terrible leaving him at daycare this morning Sad

    Look at the silver lining...it may suck now but it'll all be over quickly if he gets them all at once!

      that is very true..I'd rather have him feeling miserable for a short period of time than have it all dragged out..and he's been a champ until this set...I actually didn't even know he was getting the three last week until i was tickling him upside down and saw them!

    I think that the canines were the worst, followed closely by the first molars...the two year molars are sucking pretty bad, but they only seem to hurt her intermittently, and are taking for.freaking.ever to come in.

    Poor guy! Will is also filling in his other 3 top teeth, but no canines yet! That is a lot to handle at once! I hope the teething goes quickly for Jones!!

    Poor Jones.  This is the first long stretch we've had when Daniel wasn't teething.  The drool is really running though so I think something is going on.  And Mommy is now used to sleeping through the night. lol

    I think it varies from baby to baby.  Alex and Harry both got their bottom two at the same time.  Then, Harry got the other 6 IN THE SAME WEEK!  I almost missed it.  It was like one day I looked at him and he had 8 teeth.  All the more fun was the fact that he was still in his "all solids are evil" stage.  Another proof that teeth does not equal solids.

    Alex is my more traditional guy.  This week he's been working on his last canine.  The amount of drool is OUT OF CONTROL and he is definitely a hot mess.

    Yeah, it had to go at some point, I guess. I really wish I could do a better job of capturing it in pictures. It's pretty hilarious, right? ;)

    Same thing with Katie. She got all her teeth in chunks.  She got her 1st tooth at 14 month and then had 10 by 16 months!!  I think it was better having them all in at once.  Hope he feels better!

    I feel your pain....Anna got three of her four top teeth pretty much all at once (and of course the one she doesn't have yet is in the middle, so she looks like an old lady who forgot her dentures). Just when thought she would get a break, I felt a lower canine lump. So far, she doesn't seem tooooo bothered by it, but I guess we will see as it gets closer to breaking through... Hang in there, Jones!

    Poor boy! Teeth suck.

     

    Viv's been getting hers at an average of 2 a month, usually in pairs about a week apart. She had three teeth on bottom for ages, then the 4th finally showed up. Molar #3 just broke through -- that was hellish. She was total cranky pants for days, screamy, and even bled. I'm just waiting for #4, I can feel it beneath the gum. I also told DH we might have to cancel our trip to Arkansas if she's teething that last one at the time, I don't want to deal with that in the car! The other teeth weren't so bad, but molars are hell.

     

    I thought usually canines didn't show up until after the molars? But kids do strange things.
