Trying to Get Pregnant

Oh no, not another...

...introduction!

I have been lurking for a few weeks and normally post on 12-24m boards.  Can I just say that I love how you ladies give the straight, honest truth on this board?  No sugar coating, which is phenom.

This is the first cycle DH and I have ttc, and I am currently suffering through the 2ww (O'ed 6/22).   I know, wah wah poor me.  But, I thought I'd introduce myself because I'll most likely suffer through quite a few 2wws with you!  I am Allie, 27, mama to Charlie (15mo), 1st grade teacher in MN.

I do have a question for you all.  I have been very gassy, I've noticed more CM, and today, I felt so emotional I actually cried.  Not to mention I am only 27, so I know I am probably still pretty fertile.  Ha.  Just kidding.  I don't feel any differently.

Instead of a "welcome" or "I hope your stay is short", I'd love to see what sort of sassy retorts you can come up with.  I know you won't fail me!

Re: Oh no, not another...

  • Hahaha!  I feel you!  I'm also in my 2ww and got so crazed today that I cried in my office!  I'm so glad I only work with women -- they didn't weirded out by it (though I'm sure they're all talking about me behind my back).  I've also had some serious heartburn but it's totally possible that I'm trying to make the symptoms show because I'm so hopeful.  So, back to the tums and the gas-x for us!

Charlie's is 3/20/10... 9 days late, so when he was late I was hoping for a St. Patty's Day baby!  Lucky!
