Amazon Mom is the same as Prime, but it's free if you spend a certain amount every month. We have the regular prime membership and we still get the same benefits Amazon Mom offers, we just pay $79/year.
It's totally worth it for disposable diapers alone. If you do the Mom and the Subscribe and Save, you can save mucho money.

Totally worth it! I don't even buy diapers, and it's worth it just for the free 2 day shipping. It doesn't last forever, but it's free! I haven't run into anything shady or weird about it.

You don't actually have to spend money every month. You just get credit to extend your free membership for every $50 you spend. It is only free for a maximum of one year, although I'll probably just open a new Amazon account after that. I buy diapers, wipes, formula, baby oatmeal and mum mums with the subscribe & save so I reached my free year within a few months of Leonardo being born.
The only con is no coupons, but most of the time its cheaper than any deal I can find using coupons.

I thought it was only for 1 year too....however, I've been a member since last July and my subscription is extended through October! Maybe I just got lucky. Regardless, its awesome!

Love it, love it, love it...the free shipping & the awesome discounts are great. You just have to know your prices. Make sure what you're buying really is a deal. Dapple wipes are more expensive than in the store....Happy Baby food is way less expensive. Etc.
I do think, though, that they recently changed it so that you can either get the extra 15% off OR free 2-day shipping on Subscribe and Save items, but not both. However, Amazon shipping is so quick that it sometimes arrives in 2 days anyway. The last diapers I ordered took more like 4 days to get here. So if you're needing diapers soon and want the full 30% off, make sure you order them with time to spare.

It's still pretty much the best deal out there.
