3 hr sugar test in the morning ;(
I failed the sugar test - it was 170 - the doctor's office called today to tell me I need to do the 3 hr test this week. I'm going in the morning - just want to get it over with.....

I survived ? barely. Not being able to have water really sucks!!!! Then they have to draw your blood 4 times. If you?re like me, my veins are not the best when it comes to giving blood ? and they have to draw 4 times?. They ended up doing the first one on my arm, then the other 3 were on my hand. The problem is the last one; she was not in right so she kept moving the needle around trying to get a good angle?. Until the needle came out and I bled out. Good thing was she managed to get enough to test. My hand is now sore, bruised and swollen where the last one was done. I still feel a bit nauseous from the sugar stuff.
My hubby came with me ? it was great having him there. We drove together so as he was dropping me off at work he kept asking me if I wanted to stop to grab food for lunch on the way ? every place we saw he would ask if I wanted something off their menu?. ?McDonald?s ? want some nuggets?? / ?Taco Bell ? want a chalupa??
Why did I come into work after 3 hrs of torture?!?!?!? I feel crummy!!!
