Heat rash anyone?

I use to get bad heat rashes inside my elbows and behind my knees as a child. Since it's 100 degrees here I'm not surprised to see the start of it on LO. She's had a rash behind one of her knees for a couple weeks. I asked the pedi nurse practioner at her 6 month appt and she said just keep it moisturized and I could use a tiny amount of cortaid cream. I haven't bought any cream yet but now I see a little rash on the inside of one of her elbows. Any of you ladies deal with this? Anything I can do to prevent it and not just treat it? I just saw that food allergy post and now I'm worried that maybe that's what it is. Any advice? TIA.

    This was M yesterday, her back looked sunburn! It cleared up overnight. I did giver her bath last night and used some aquaphor on her.  She was in her johnny  jumper and I think she was just too small and it heated her up.
