Okay, so I'm only five weeks right now and I'm only sixteen. Everyone has told me that it will take longer for me to show because I'm so young and I'm not far along at all. Is it possible that my stomach is growing because of the baby or am I just getting fat?
Re: Baby bump?
get an old cami top, one that is pretty tight on you, cut the top part off. Then just fold it over and wear that like a belly band. It will hide when you can't button your jeans and look just like you're layering your shirts.

let's hope.
I was thinking the same thing. Jessie, is that you??
I wasn't hoping for a whole bunch of drama at all. I just don't see it as being real. I dunno. Honestly not trying to stir the pot. Just wanted to know if anyone else thought so too.

lol mmhmm. why couldnt it be real?
Well, how many 16 year olds do you actually see on TB? Granted, I'm not on TB that much, usually on TN, but still. How many 16 year olds really know about this site? Plus her SN is likely not something a 16 y/o would use. Teenmom7?
And....her grammar and punctuation are impecable for a 16 year old.
But all that's JMO.

If you were mature for your age...why did you get pregnant at 16?
Just playing Devil's Advocate.

I'm just lurking here for a friend who is thinking of joining. You can learn all about the different acronyms used here at the bottom left on this page (the list of links) "Bump Board Glossary" Here's the link

>.< reallllyyyy??? That was such a unpleasant thing to say and i must say kind of immature! why would u say that to some one that is expecting a bundle of joy! They come at all different times ways and types of circumstances!! Keep ur head up and do whats right for you and your family! Don't let people put you down hunny! All things happen for a reason and you should enjoy this time!
Wow, it's really immature for any posters on here to accuse someone else of making up their pregnancy. Why would you care if they did?!? Get a life or just don't comment at all. Being pregnant is enough stress without looking to create nonsense on a stupid message board.

As I was reading through this thread, it really sounded like you were trying to stir the pot. There are many intelligent teenagers that get pregnant everyday. Kudos to her for stepping out and finding support in different forms. As for the young lady, this will be the hardest thing in your life , but it sounds like you are on the right track. Hang in there!
And that is true.

Most teenagers are more computer-savvy than adults. When you consider that they've been around computers since birth and most of us didn't start using them until we were teens, it makes sense. The nonprofit where I used to work hired high school students as interns. We never had to teach them how to use our database - they already knew (or figured it out in five minutes). Why is it surprising that a teen could use google to find a website about pregnancy?
Also, I can't speak for anyone else, but I used appropriate grammar and punctuation at age 16. Not all teens are illiterate.
To the OP: definitely invest in a belly band! They sell them at Target for cheaper than you can get them at a maternity store. Good luck! The most important thing is to continue your education, even though it will be more difficult once your baby is born.
I didn't say that they were.
There are also a good number of adults on these boards who can't spell or use proper punctuation/grammar to save their lives.
ETA: I'm not implying the people on this particular board.

That's very true. I imagine that most of them probably sucked at it in high school, too. They start teaching grammar and punctuation in elementary school, so if someone hasn't picked up on at least some of it by age 16, they probably never will.
hey, i really do hope you stick around - message, call out, or email me any time
