How long did teething for 2 year molars last?

I am losing my mind.  Poor DS is sooo miserable!

I love being home with my kids during the summer, but dear God I need a few moments in the day when someone isn't crying or clinging like Velcro to me.

  • He started getting the first one in December, got the next one in January and then there was a break until March, then another one in April.  Those teeth are BEASTS.  Jacob was really only a mess at night, but he had his hand in his mouth constantly.

  • I hate to say it but they last forever. One would come in and then we would have a week break and the next would come in. The last two came in at the same time but one would pop up then go back down, then pop up and go back down. It was killer! Those last two took 4+ weeks for my son and the quickest one was only a week.
  • I use to think teething was a myth because Katie never had one sleepless night or cranky moment while teething...until...these god awful 2 year molars. OMG she has been a mess. Top ones came in a few weeks ago and now we are working on the bottom ones. Motrin is our best friend right now. Good luck!

  • I am literally about to cry, I will never make it.  I love my twins, but today was the hardest day and I don't know if I can handle it for an extended amount of time.  Not to mention DD is getting her incisors right now too.

"just keep swimming, just keep swimming...."

I am sorry you feel that way. I have to say mortin motrin motrin! That plus popsicles (if you alow them) can make a bad day better. Also lots of outside time. I don't know what it is but just getting out of the house always helps DS. You don't have to go far, backyard, the closest park, just outside the house.

Remember that this too shall pass and that sometime just taking it one day at a time is all you can do,. ((((HUGS)))))
