Got a doll for DS #1, when do I give it to him?

Now so he'll get used to it, or do I wait until the new baby comes home?

    I have read that the final month or two is a good time. We already gave DD hers but we plan to really start talking about it etc, in another month or two...GL! Let us know how it goes after the baby gets here!

    We gave our ds his doll at Easter (so I was 5months pregnant).  He doesnt really play with it but knows what the babys bottle/pacifier/eyes are.  I pull it out sometimes and get him familiar with the language that comes with a baby.  I hope it helps for when the next baby comes.
