DD's baptism PsIP

B got baptized on Sunday and she wore a gown that was 100 years old.  My grammy's father wore this gown in 1902 for his christening.  It's a little yellow, but still in great condition.

  • That's so cool that you have an heirloom like that. I had to buy a new one for C for her baptism, but I'm saving it in the hopes that she might pass it down too.

It was worn once back in 1902 and then it was packed up and put away.  My grammy didn't find it until her parents died and went through their attic.  My two cousins wore it approx 10 years ago and now B.  I think that is why it is in such great condition, it was only worn a few times.
