HTML help, please? (NBR obv.)

I need to put quotes inside parentheses in the text I'm adding and I can't frigging figure out how to do it.  I really have no clue what I'm doing at all, but I've at least figured out that the fact that they are inside is my problem.  I'm sure there is a simple solution, can anyone tell me what it is?  TIA!

  • Where you want the quotation marks to show up in your text, use " .  For the actual html markup quotation marks, use " .

I'm doing that, but because it's in parentheses (I think), something that should say (blue "duck") looks like (blue "duck").

  • You can try using the HTML code for the open & close parenthesis and see if that makes a difference.

    ( = (

    ) = )

Nope, same result. Any other ideas?

Does it help to know that it shows up correctly in the WYSIWYG portion of the editor?
  • When you type it in the WYSIWYG editor and then view the HTML code, what is it showing?

    Is (blue "duck").
  • Send me the link (if it's live) or the page of code, and I'll find the culprit for you.
