So I posted this on my other board too since I asked for recs there too.
Here's a list of the 3 I've found that I like a lot. There are also some tips we've found good for applying at the bottom.
#1) is Burnout for kids
It doesn't leave H white like a ghost and rubs in easily. It's got like
a 1 or 2 on the skin website. It lasts really well in the water too.
#2) all terrain kidsport
It's a pump and sprays easily. I think it leaves h a smidge oily
feeling, but it soaks in and also lasts very well in water and doesn't
make him a ghost. I think it was a 3 in the skin website.
#3) kiss my face sunblock spray
This
got a 5 on the skin website, but it's never the base coat. It's a big
squirter and sprays nicely, makes it easy to rub in. It layers well over
the burnout which is my fave base coat so far.
Also, tips for applying the sunscreen, my guy loves getting lotioned up. He's wacky like that. He loves to help apply too, so after I do his belly, I give him some to rub in himself.
We also play tickle monster while I rub it in all the way.
All available on Amazon and #1 and #3 are also at wholefoods. Happy summer

the lower the number the better. It also depends on person pref as to what is ok or not chemical wise to have in on yourself/kiddos.
each product is scored on the same criteria and they list what makes each item not so good.

I don't know if it layers, but you have to really wash the burnout off at night, so i'm going with at the very least, it's keeping the kiss my face from absorbing much into his skin.
I am liking the feel of the burnout. It isn't as sticky, but I am not sure that it is water proof. Badger is way too sticky for us.
I'm mostly concerned with nanoparticals, so I will be sticking to burnout.
